We had such a wonderful stay at Seven Hundred Acres. We arrived to a clean cottage, the fans on and freshly baked bread on the kitchen bench. In the fridge was eggs, bacon for brekky, and fruit. The coffee maker made a wonderful coffee for an early morning coffee on the veranda over looking a valley. The valley was a wonderful back drop for some time on my yoga mat and meditation. The area is so quiet and the only noise is birds or the very occasional farm car. The bed was comfortable and the house had all the touches for a relaxing stay; books, DVDs, magazines, candles... It was the PERFECT getaway. We will definitely come back and bring the kids as there is plenty of space to run and explore......Chloe, Toowoomba

It’s tough in rural Australia so top marks for getting out and doing something different. The house is new and very comfortable and lots of lovely little touches, well done. Beds are new and super comfy and it is set on top of a lovely valley / gorge, lovely outlook. We mentioned we would like a BBQ but couldn’t have a fire because of fire restrictions so the host brought in a kettle BBQ, very much appreciated. Not much phone reception but books work fine and there was lots of lovely bird songs for music. Absolutely lovely spot I can’t think of a more enjoyable way to support rural Australia - Teresa, Eatons Hill

August 2019 - A great location for a getaway with our dogs. We really enjoyed the seclusion and the House was lovely and warm. We had everything we needed to have a weekend away. August 2019 - A wonderful luxurious stay with amazing views of the surrounding bush. The fire pit was lovely to sit around on the cold nights. The furnishings are very new and modern. The continental breakfast, including fresh baked bread, as well as milk and fresh eggs was a lovely touch. Cate was nice enough to let our kids help with feeding the lambs and chickens. The place seemed newly renovated, spacious and clean, the breakfast ingredients provided were fresh and delicious, and the dogs had a great time frollicking on the property! July 2019 - The home is very tidy and well presented. The morning sunshine warms the living area on cold winter mornings. The one heater does well except late at night and early in the mornings in the bedroom bathroom area. The location is fairly remote so bring a good book and some walking shoes, although there is a wide selection of DVDs provided which was great. We were fortunate to feed and nurse some new baby lambs (only 3 days old) and my teenager daughters adored this. Complimentary breakfast food, fruit and coffee was greatly appreciated. July 2019 - Cate is an outstanding host! This whole property is just beautiful. We were so lucky to see two newborn lambs on the first morning. The sparkling clean, newly built, charming home has everything you need and more. The bed was super comfortable, the view out the back is stunning and we didn’t want to leave! July 2019 - We absolutely loved our weekend get away at the farm stay on 700 acres all the feels of camping minus the uncomfortable sleep and clean up at the end... Fire pit is a fantastic feature and a god send in the cooler months. Pack warm and you'll be fine Cate is a pleasure to deal with and has excellent communication. June 2019 - We could not recommend Seven Hundred Acres enough, the lodge was beautiful and allows you to fully feel at one with nature. We came for stargazing and were not disappointed by an amazing view of the Milky Way! - Jack
